Abstract

The law is an important and principal tool for the management of the state and society. Therefore, the spirit of strict law-abiding is always highly respected, especially in the countries governed by the rule of law. However, the law must have reasonable limits (stops) and not all social relations or issues need to be. By explaining the limits in law and analyzing, assessing some issues in practice, the article suggests some recommendations to define the limits in Vietnamese law in order to restrain the current situation of the legal system which is both redundant and inadequate and lead to the abusement and waste of the law.
