Labor and social security law applied in the special economic zones
Establishing the special economic zones (SEZ) with superior institutions to create growth and experimental innovation is the requirement given by the 12th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam in Resolution No. 11-NQ/TW on June 3, 2017. Based on the characteristics of the SEZ, this article analyzes the fundamental provisions in labor and social security laws applied in SEZ of some countries to prove that labor and social security legislation contributes to the success or failure of SEZ construction. For that reason, the article proposes recommendations to select the model and preferential policies in special economic zones in Vietnam in the Law on Special Administrative-Economic Zones and related laws.
