Improving the provisions on crime victims of the 2015 Criminal Procedure Code

Abstract

The paper analyses the provisions on crime victims of the 2015 Criminal Procedure Code from different perspectives such as the concept, rights and obligations of crime victims and the guarantee of implementing those rights and obligations. It offers comments on, and assessment of the provisions on rights and obligations of crime victims in criminal procedure and the guarantee of those rights and obligations. The paper then proposes solutions to improve the law and the organization to implement the law in this regard, to guarantee legitimate rights and interests of crime victims and to contribute to handling criminal cases in an objective, comprehensive and adequate manner.
