Evidence collection of parties in civil procedure

Abstract

Under the 2015 Civil Procedure Code, parties have not been fully supported to have sufficent evidence for proof and protection of their legitimate rights and interests before court and evidence collection of parties faces many difficulties in practice. The paper points out differences in evidence collecion in civil procedure of some countries and on that basis it offers some recommendations for improving the civil procedure law of Vietnam on evidence collection of parties.
