RIGHT TO HEALTH PROTECTION AND CARE UNDER THE LAW AND SOME RECOMMENDATIONS

Abstract

The provisions on the  right to healthprotection and care under the 2013 Constitution have met the demands of people’s health protection and care, suiting the socio-economic conditions of the country. To specify these provisions of the Constitution and to be consistent with international commitments, it is recommended that the law of Vietnam on the people’s right to health should be improved. The paper introduces the legal provisions on the right to healthcare and the inadequacies of the law implementation and offers proposals to improve the law in this regard.
