PROPOSED SOLUTIONS TO IMPROVE THE LEGAL FRAMEWORK ON TOURISM REAL ESTATE IN VIETNAM

Abstract

In recent years, to realise the development strategy of tourism as a spearhead economic sector of Vietnam, the field of tourism real estate (with products such as condotel, resort villa and mixed-use ones like shophouse, etc which are properties built on commercial land in tourism complexes) has been tremendously growing and transforming, yet the legal corriodor for this field is incomplete, and many shortcomings need to be overcome. This paper analyses the current situation of tourism real estate business, points our some limitations and inadequacies of the related law and proposes solutions for improvement.
