Solutions to use case law in post-graduate training at law schools in Vietnam
Abstract
Using case law in post-graduate training programs at law schools in Vietnam is an objective demand because Vietnam has recognised case law as a source of law and already published several cases to support the practice of the judicial system. The paper suggests the following solutions to use case law in post-graduate training at law schools in Vietnam: i) Teaching basic contents on case law and applying case law; ii) Using case law as course materials and as the case method of law teaching; iii) Includingthe topic of case law in to the list of graduation thesis topics and encouraging students to write theses on this topic.
