The law applicable to individuals in civil relations involving foreign elements under the 2015 Civil Code

Abstract

The paper reviews and assesses the current legal provisions of Vietnam on the choice of law applicable to foreigners who participate in civil relations involving foreign elements under Part V of the 2015 Civil Code. On that basis, the paper offers recommendations to clarify some concepts relating to the issue in question and to identify cases of applying the law to persons with multinationality.
