Legal provisions on guarantee of goods - Comments and proposals for improvement
Abstract
Consumer protection is an important issue for all countries and territories in the world. One of the ways to protect consumer rights made by the law makers is the use of the legal institution of guarantees of goods. The paper analyses and comments on the limitations of the current law in this regard. It offers proposals for law improvement which are in line with the following directions: clearly defining the subjects who are responsible for guaranteeing goods and the subjects who have the right to request for guarantee of goods; and clearly defining the grounds for initiating the responsibility for guaranteeing goods.
