The law on identification of transactions between public companies and persons involved - Inadequacies and recommendations for improvement

Abstract

Based on the analysis, evaluation and indication of some inadequacies in regard to the legislative techniques and the transparency of the current law on identification of transactions between public companies and persons involved, the paper offers some recommendations for improving the law in this regard with the following directions: consolidating current legal provisions on related persons; and providing detailed guidance on the criteria and conditions for defining the related persons of public companies and transactions between the public company and the persons involved.
