Conditions for the validity of choice of law agreements and the conflict of general conditions of contract

Abstract

The paper analyses conditions for the validity of choice of law clauses applicable to civil relations involving foreign elements under the law of Vietnam. It also analyses rules of the Hague principles in relation to the conflict of choice of law clauses applicable to general conditions of contract. On that basis, the paper offers recommendations for improving the law of Vietnam on choice of law clauses appilicable to civil relations involving foreign elements.
