Abstract
Exoticism refers to the body of literature about foreign lands and cultures that normally belong to the so-called Orietnal land. New humanities include disciplines that studies civil rights, antiwar, feminism, natives, and ethnic minorities. This paper introduces the concept of “exotic” from postcolonialist perspectives of the new humanities in the West.
