Resources of Some Ethnic Groups in Household Economic Development in the Land Border Area of Quang Nam Province

Abstract

Based on the results of field research in the two border districts of Tay Giang
and Nam Giang, Quang Nam province in 2023-2024, the article analyzes the resources of
some local ethnic groups in household economic development in the border area. The article
focuses on three ethnic groups: Co-tu, Gie-Trieng and Kinh; the ethnic resources analyzed
are human capital, natural capital, physical capital, financial capital, social capital and
cultural capital. Thereby, the article points out the position and role of these resources in
economic development as well as promoting policies for local ethnic groups.
