Integated pest management (ipm) on crops: Expectations from theory and application in reality

Integrated Pest Management (IPM) on crops has emerged since the Green Revolution in India, aiming at controlling the overuse of chemical pesticides in agricultural farming. Over the past six decades, IPM has endeavored to promote sustainable forms of agriculture, and thereby resolved myriad socio-economic, environmental, and human health challenges. However, there have still been many shortcomings in its practical application, especially in developing countries like Vietnam.
