Về các thuộc viên Thái y viện triều Nguyễn, hiện nay chúng ta chỉ có thể bắt gặp lác đác qua các bộ sử triều Nguyễn hay trong các tư liệu dòng họ song chỉ liên quan tới một vài người. Bài viết này giới thiệu một tài liệu châu bản triều Minh Mạng, cung cấp một cách đầy đủ tên tuổi, quê quán, thời gian ứng vụ của các thuộc viên Thái y viện vào thời điểm năm Minh Mạng thứ nhất (1820). Văn bản này cho phép chúng ta hình dung được phần nào hoạt động của cơ quan chuyên trách về sức khỏe trong hoàng cung, từ đó có thể tiếp tục tìm hiểu sâu hơn về hoạt động y tế dưới thời Nguyễn.

ABSTRACT

Nowadays, we do not know much about the members of the Institute of Royal Physicians (Thái y viện) except for scattering information in the Nguyễn Dynasty’s history books or family documents, but they are only related to several persons. This paper introduces an official document under the reign of Emperor Minh Mạng fully providing the names, native places, service duration of the members of Institute of royal physicians at the time of the first regnal year of Emperor Minh Mạng (1820). This document allows us to partly visualize the operation of the agency responsible for the health of the royal family, then to continue to learn about health care activities under the Nguyễn Dynasty.
