Các loài thuộc chi Củ Nâu có giá trị làm thuốc và thực phẩm ở tỉnh Thừa Thiên Huế/The Species in the Dioscorea Genus Valuable for Medicinal Purposes and Food Products in Thừa Thiên Huế Province

Qua quá trình điều tra, tác giả đã thu thập và xác định được 10 loài thuộc chi Củ nâu (Dioscorea) có ở tỉnh Thừa Thiên Huế. Cả 10 loài đều được người dân dùng làm thuốc, có 3 loài dùng làm thực phẩm, 1 loài dùng để nhuộm vải, thuộc da và 1 loài làm cây cảnh. Từ yêu cầu thực tế về nguyên liệu sản xuất dược liệu, tác giả đề xuất cần nghiên cứu sâu hơn về loài Khoai mài để làm thuốc chữa bệnh đái tháo đường.

ABSTRACT

The initial collection and identification results show 10 species belonging to Dioscorea genus found in Thừa Thiên Huế province. All ten species are used as medicine, there are three species used as food, a species used for cloth dying and leather tanning, and a species used as ornamental plants. From the real requirement of materials for medicinal production, further research on Dioscorea persimilis species to cure diabetes is suggested.
