Khi phê bình bài “Tiếp tục so sánh các bản Kiều cổ của ba vùng Nam, Bắc và Huế” của chúng tôi và GS Nguyễn Tài Cẩn viết, có nhiều chỗ ông Nguyễn Quảng Tuân lái sang vấn đề khác, theo hướng làm người đọc hiểu lầm là những người viết thiếu cẩn thận hoặc phiên sai bản Nôm nên chúng tôi muốn bàn thêm, làm rõ một số điểm. Điểm mà chúng tôi muốn nhấn mạnh là: Chúng tôi kiên định lập trường đánh giá mức độ cổ của các văn bản Truyện Kiều Nôm dựa trên kỹ thuật phân tích chữ húy và nội dung câu chữ của văn bản chứ không thuần túy chỉ dựa trên năm sao chép hay in lại.

ABSTRACT

When Nguyễn Quảng Tuân writes his comments on the article “Continuing Comparison between the Old Versions of the Poetry Book Kiều from the South, the North and Huế” written by Professor Nguyễn Tài Cẩn and me, at some places he intentionally deviates from the topic in order that the readers would understand the book’s authors are careless or unable to translate correctly the relevant Nôm material. As a result, we would like to put forward here some more discussion in the hope of clarifying several argumentative points. We put great emphasis on the fact that we maintain our belief in our method to estimate the ages of the versions of Kiều not only by means of the dates of their copies or reprintings but also on the basis of an analysis on the taboo words and the contents of the texts.
