Bài báo giới thiệu tổng thể việc phát triển du lịch sinh thái tại Cù Lao Chàm - Hội An, sự hỗ trợ của bảo tồn cho du lịch và ngược lại du lịch tăng cường sự phát triển bảo tồn. Bài báo đề cập đến hình thức tiếp cận mới của du lịch tại vùng hạ lưu sông Thu Bồn. Với 2 dòng trao đổi giữa vật chất và tri thức - văn hóa, con người đã bắt đầu ứng xử tốt dần với thiên nhiên, mô hình du lịch sinh thái Cù Lao Chàm - Hội An hy vọng sẽ có những bước chuyển biến mới. Bài báo cũng phân tích các khó khăn và thách thức mới với du lịch tại Cù Lao Chàm hiện nay như nhu cầu tiêu thụ, khai thác nguồn lợi tự nhiên, vấn đề rác thải, ô nhiễm từ trong đất liền, thiên tai, và định hướng phát triển du lịch sinh thái vùng này.

ABSTRACT

 The article generally presents the Chàm Islands - Hội An ecotourism approach, highlighting how conservation facilitates increased tourism and how tourism revenue, in turn, is used to support environmental protection. The paper will come up with a new approach to tourism in the Thu Bồn River downstream region. This approach emphasizes material economic benefits, as well as honoring and protecting local culture and wisdom. Following the Chàm Islands - Hội An ecotourism model, local people have gradually adopted more environmentally-friendly practices. The article also analyzes the challenges and development strategies of managing tourism on the Chàm Islands, including increasing demand and over-exploitation of natural resources, increasing garbage, inland pollution, and natural disasters.
