Management practices in small and medium enterprises in Ha Giang: Analysis of survey results on compliance with management principles
Abstract
Small and medium-sized enterprises in Ha Giang are striving to develop their economy despite facing many difficulties in capital, technology and market, especially after COVID-19. Management capacity is still limited in the fields of production, business and finance, due to the lack of long-term planning and application of modern technology. The article surveyed 195 enterprises and found that work management, self-management and group management capacity reached the level of "Fair" or higher. However, production, business and financial management were below the "Fair" level, especially production planning, marketing, debt management and income distribution. To improve, it is proposed to support state management agencies in human resource training, digital transformation, consulting, connection, finance and information transparency.
