Determining the Height of Mesh - Type Air - Termination Installment above The Flat Roof According to Standard TCXDVN9385:2012 to Increase Interception Efficiencies

Abstract

     The minimum height of mesh according to standard TCXDVN9385:2012 was not clearly defined. The aim of this study was to propose the height of mesh-type air - termination according to the standard TCXDVN9385: 2012 to achieve high protection. When buildings not higher than 20m, a mesh width of 5m x 10m and 10m x 20m can be installed at a height 16cm and 21cm, respectively. If the height of buildings greater than 20 m rolling - sphere method, with 4 mesh type are 5m x 5m, 10m x 10m, 15m x 15m and 20m x 20m at minimum height of 5cm, 10cm, 15cm, and 20cm, respectively, can be used.
