Responsive Design and Its Application to Designing Website of the Faculty of Information Techonology

Abstract

      In recent years, there is an explosive growth of portable devices such as smart phones, tablets and other devices, the trend of web design that supports for mobile devices such as optimizing touch screens, minimizing control buttons and empty space, enhancing videos and graphics, designing learning applications, interacting with social networks. One of the newest web design trends and most revolutionary development to meet above-mentioned requirements at the moment is responsive web design. This paper presents the results obtained in the analysis, design, installation and deployment of mobile version of the Faculty of Information Technology’s website after having carried out an investigation in the actual usage of responsive web design method at some organizations in the field of Information Technology in Viet Nam and around the world.
