Petrol price increase to push high shipping costs - what solutions to help businesses recovering production business to “adapt safely” to Covid-19
Abstract
The 4th outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic has forced tens of thousands of businesses to stop doing business, even leaving the market. Resolution 128 of the Government has regulations on “Safely adapting, flexibly, effectively controlling the Covid-19 epidemic”, opening the way for businesses to resume production and business. However, the sudden increase in gasoline prices (due to Russia’s “special military campaign” in Ukraine and the consequences of the pandemic) acted as a “bump” to businesses’ efforts to restore production and business. The article assesses the impact of increased gasoline prices on transportation costs, thereby offers some solutions to help businesses restore production and business in the “new normal” and “safe adaptation” conditions
