Hiệp định Thương mại tự do Việt Nam – EU (EVFTA): Những tác động tới phát triển của Việt Nam

Abstract

The EU is one of the most important partners of Vietnam; accounting for a large proportion with over 90% of import-export turnover of Vietnam with Europe; is the fourth largest trading partner of Vietnam and the second largest export market (after the US); currently ranks 4th among the largest FDI investors in Vietnam. In that context, the Free Trade Agreement between Vietnam and the EU (EVFTA) coming into force from August 1, 2020 opens up great opportunities and prospects for developing the Vietnam - EU comprehensive cooperation and partnership; will be an important lever to help Vietnam reform its economic institutions, improve the investment and business environment, thereby helping Vietnam achieve new growth rate and economic, social, science and technology development.
