Traces of Sun Zhong Shan in Vietnam

Abstract

Sun Zhong Shan (Sun Yat Sen, 1866-1925) in the great democrat, an outstanding figure in the Chinese Modern and Contemporary History. In 1905, He developed the famous political theory "Three Principles of the People", that means: Nationalism, Democracy, the people's well-being. He also founded the Chinese Revolutionary Association aimed to propagandize for the "Three Principles of the People" the mobilization of the masses. He was also the man, who organized the Tan Hoi Revolution (1911) and became the Father of the First State of Democratic Republic in China until He died.

His traces in Vietnam are not only manifest by His visits, residents, years of propagations and activities from the North to the South, but He also stressed in the political though, organization and direction of many patriotic organizations in Vietnam. Many Vietnamese revolutionaries, especially with Leader Nguyen Ai Quoc (Ho Chi Minh) paid his great admiration and respected to Him, not only He was the Great revolutionary of China, but His Three Principles of the People also have filled with "many becoming points" to Vietnamese circumstance and Nguyen pledged to try to become "His minor follower".
