Some Features on the Laotian Struggle for National Independence in the Period 1893-1945

Abstract

Right after the first invasion and governance of the Western colonialists, people of the colonized countries began to fight against the in order to protect their countries and regain the national independence. This struggle for national independence underwent two major stages: anti-invasion struggle and struggle for national independence.

This article aims to elucidate the Laotian fighting to salvage the national independence, focusing on the following points: 1. Way for national salvation in the Laotian people's resistance war for national independence. 2. Vietnamese overseas' contribution in the Laotian resistance war. 3. The role of the Indochina Communist Party in revolutionary process of the Laotian ethnics.
