Abstract

As be inherited diplomatic relations and economic exchanges from the predynastic periods, under the Early Le, regardless of central administration attached  great important to agricultural economy and enforced policies aiming to favoring in encourage developments of this domain, but the Early Le Court's heads also gave their attention to trade activities significantly, including commerce. In the promulgation and law enforcing, making-policy process..., economic activities, including foreign trade, were always considered as important contents, and played as an organic part of the national economy. The Le dynasty both maintained in fact domestic and international trading, and used many close measures in order for defending national sovereignty and security. Those policies brought about a fully-constituted management system.

Through multi-dimensional analyzing of the information and events exploiting from the official annals, in laws and policies... of the Early Le time, this article tries to do provide a new understanding on the Le dynasty's economic policies. That not at all illustrated agricultural thought purely, and that annulled trade and handicraft activities as ways of viewing by many scholars. A trade tradition of the Great Viet in the Early Le time is still kept in mind, at once that prepared important basis to prosperous development of the Great Viet's trading in the 16th-18th centuries afterwards.
