Hiện nay, tại Việt Nam đã có một số dự án đầu tư xây dựng các công trình thoát nước và xử lý nước thải, nhưng các dự án chủ yếu được thực hiện tại các đô thị lớn. Tại các đô thị nhỏ, và các đô thị miền núi vấn đề xử lý nước thải(XLNT) vẫn chưa được quan tâm đúng mức. Hầu hết nước thải đều chưa được xử lý trước khi xả vào các nguồn tiếp nhận[1]. Tại những nơi này cơ sở hạ tầng còn yếu kém, nguồn vốn đầu tư còn hạn chế, trình độ nguồn nhân lực chưa cao. Do đó việc lựa chọn một giải pháp công nghệ xử lí nước thải phù hợp với những nơi này là một điều rất quan trọng.
Từ những vấn đề thực tế đó, yêu cầu có một mô hình xử lý nước thải phù hợp với điều kiện tự nhiên, kinh tế, xã hội của các đô thị nhỏ, đô thị miền núi nước ta là một vấn đề cần phải làm ngay. Trong khuôn khổ bài viết này, tác giả sẽ trình bày một số cách tiếp cận để giải quyết vấn đề xử lý nước thải (XLNT) với chi phí thấp tại các đô thị nhỏ ở Việt Nam.

Abstract

Currently, in Vietnam, there are several investment projects to build drainage and wastewater treatment facilities, but projects are mainly built-in big cities. In small urban areas and mountainous urban areas, the problem of wastewater treatment is still not paid attention to. Most wastewater is untreated before being discharged into receiving sources. In these areas, the infrastructure is still poor, the amount of money for construction is still low, and the level of human resources is not high. Therefore, the selection of a suitable wastewater treatment technology solution is very important.
From these practical issues, it is important to request a model of wastewater treatment suitable to the natural, economic, and social conditions of our small cities and mountainous cities. In this article, I will present some approaches to solving the problem of low-cost wastewater treatment in small urban areas in Vietnam.
