PROMOTING THE ROLE OF LOCAL MASS ORGANIZATIONS IN PROTECTING AND PROMOTING THE SPOKEN AND WRITTEN LANGUAGE OF THE THAI ETHNIC GROUP IN THANH HÓA

The paper analyzed the role of grassroots-level local mass organizations in protecting and promoting the spoken and written language of the Thai ethnic group in Thanh Hóa. At the same time, it processed and analyzed survey data using SPSS software to clarify the correlations between the roles and activities of local mass organizations in this work through classes, festivals, and other related activities. Thus, the paper proposed several measures to strengthen the role and responsibility of local mass organizations in protecting and promoting the spoken and written language of the Thai ethnic group in Thanh Hóa.

THE HORSE AS A CULTURAL SYMBOL: A GLOBAL AND VIETNAMESE PERSPECTIVE

This paper examined the transformation and adaptation of the horse symbol from global cultural contexts into Vietnam. While Western and nomadic cultures associate the horse with military power, conquest, and knightly status, in Vietnam it underwent profound localization. From a ‘war horse’ linked to national heroes, it entered the spiritual realm of agrarian society, becoming a sacred figure in folk beliefs and the artistic heritage of temples, pagodas, and communal houses. The study highlighted how the Vietnamese internalize universal values, enriching national cultural identity and contributing to the global heritage discourse.

REGIONAL LINKAGES IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF CULTURAL INDUSTRIES: A PATHWAY TOWARD SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Cultural industries (CIs) have become an important economic sector, contributing to socio-economic development and national cultural value, yet their development remains fragmented and underutilizes regional linkages. This paper examined the role of regional cooperation in CI development, identified successful domestic and international collaboration models, and proposed initial strategic directions. The findings showed that regional linkages enhance the use of local comparative advantages, stimulate creativity, strengthen competitiveness, and support balanced and sustainable CI development.

EFFECTIVENESS OF SPECIALIZED SPEED-STRENGTH EXERCISES IN BASKETBALL FOR SPORTS STUDENTS AT THANH HOA UNIVERSITY OF CULTURE, SPORTS AND TOURISM

THE IMPACT OF SLEEP ON TRAINING PERFORMANCE AND PHYSICAL RECOVERY OF STUDENTS AT THANH HOA UNIVERSITY OF CULTURE, SPORTS AND TOURISM

This paper examined the impact of sleep on training performance and physical recovery among students at Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism. A survey of 350 students showed that 58% slept less than six hours per day, while only 14% slept over seven hours. Sleep-deprived students had poorer performance, lower concentration, greater fatigue, and slower recovery, whereas those with seven to eight hours of sleep recovered faster, had less muscle soreness, and maintained better performance. The study highlights sleep as a key factor in training effectiveness and injury prevention, recommending measures to raise sleep awareness, adjust schedules, improve living conditions, use sleep-tracking technology, and provide health guidance.

FORECASTING TOURISM HUMAN RESOURCE DEMAND FOR THE PERIOD 2026-2030

The study quantified a significant labor gap, forecasting that the sector will require over one million additional direct workers from 2026-2030, implying a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 12.9% per year. Rapid market recovery was exacerbating shortages in both quantity and quality, particularly in digital skills and high-value service capabilities. Thus, the paper proposed integrated policy solutions, including short-term measures and long-term strategic approaches.

LINGUISTIC CHARACTERISTICS OF ENGLISH-VIETNAMESE TOURISM SLOGANS: A HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL PERSPECTIVE
