PERSONALITY TRAITS – THE DIFFERENCE IN TERMS OF THE NETWORKING INTENSITY IN THE JOB SEARCH PROCESS

Abstract
Personality trait is seen as a key factor contributing people’s success, and it also influences significantly the job search process and outcomes of students. The goal of this research is to investigate the effect of six HEXACO traits in using Networking for looking for a job, with a sample of 773 students who study in many different majors. Results indicated that different traits tend to express dissimilar levels of Networking. Results and implication will be discussed.
