EFFECTS OF SOCIAL CAPITAL TO POSSIBILITY ACCESS THE MARKET OF AQUACULTURE HOUSEHOLD IN THE COASTAL SEA AREA BEN TRE PROVINCE

Abstract

This study uses descriptive statistics method, logistic regression, t-test paired two samples for means were used to analyze social capital and the factors affecting households capacity of market access; evaluate the difference in social capital between poor and non-poor households of 153 aquaculture households in the area of three coastal districts of Binh Dai, Ba Tri and Thanh Phu. The results showed that official network, informal networks and age, experience, number of years living in the locality and education all have an impact on market access.
