FACTORS AFFECTING TO CROSS - LISTING IN THE SECURITIES MARKET: AN EMPIRICAL STUDY AT SINGAPORE STOCK EXCHANGE

Abstract

In this paper, author examines the factors affecting to cross-listing in Singapore stock exchange, including 11 factors: Long-Term assets, long-term  liabilities, net revenue, Earnings Before Tax, bebt management capabilities, liabilities/equity, current ratio,  quick ratio, return of invested capital, revenue growth rate, EPS growth rate. Data were collected from 60 companies were cross - listing on the Singapore exchange priod from 2013 - 2016. The results show that there are 5 influencing factors in descending order: (1) liabilities/equity, (2) quick ratio, (3) earning per share growth rate, (4) return of invested capital, (5) net revenue. Propose policies for companies which want to cross-listed on the stock market in Singapore.
