HOW TYPES OF ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE HAVE EFFECT ON THE EMPLOYEE'S JOB SATISFACTION IN VIETNAMESE SERVICE FIRMS IN GLOBAL CONTEXT

Abstract

This paper investigates the relationship between types of organizational culture and employees' satisfaction in service sector in Vietnam by conducting a survey. This paper finds that clan culture and hierarchy culture are the two most popular types of culture in service sector in Vietnam. The findings of the paper also show that clan culture is associated with highest employees' satisfaction, followed by adhocracy culture. Meanwhile, hierarchy culture and market culture are related with lower sastisfaction of employees.
