HUST GREEN AND NET ZERO ENERGY CAMPUS

Abstract

Climate change and energy security pose challenges for countries around
the world to have a strategy to transition to using clean and energy efficient
energy. Joining hands to implement Vietnam's commitment at COP26, HUST
aims to build a Green University with sustainable energy criteria. Through the
actual survey to build the Building Information Modeling (BIM) and the Building
Energy Modeling (BEM) for the current status of the Campus of Hanoi University
of Science and Technology, thereby analyzing, assess the current status of the
main campus of Hanoi University of Science and Technology and outline the
current status of energy use as well as strategies to achieve the Green University
criteria, and propose measures and implementation methods to achieve HUST -
Green University and Net Zero Energy Use.
