Abstract

The growth of the number of urban areas in our country (as of 2020, there
were 862 urban areas) has led to an increase in population density. This has
resulted in an increasing demand for energy usage: in 2020, it was
2210.9kWh/person/year compared to 1535.1kWh/person/year in 2015. A report
by the Ministry of Industry and Trade shows that the level of electricity waste in
our country is very high, ranging from 10-50%. Rational electricity usage is
receiving increasing attention. Therefore, the aim of this study is to provide
solutions to help users control and save energy. Currently, in the 4.0 industrial
revolution with the strong development of the Internet of Things, smart home
systems are becoming increasingly popular and can completely support the
processing of this issue through the automatic execution of efficient energy
usage strategies. In this study, the author proposes a solution to build an energy
management system in buildings. The system allows integration and control of
available devices on the market on the same centralized platform. The system
will analyze usage habits and support the establishment of functions in
optimizing the use of electricity through automation.
