Abstract

Each family has the ability to self-produce vegetables according to a closed
process at home, bringing many benefits to the family and society: Actively
source of clean vegetables, self-sufficient, helping to protect the health of the
family; reduce the amount of household waste, good for the environment and
society. On average, each household generates 1 - 2kg of organic waste, a month
a household discharges about 45kg of waste into the environment. The article
presents the application of IoT (Internet of Things) technology to build a closed
organic vegetable production system, applicable to households, this system
includes waste treatment stage. Organic household waste is converted into
fertilizer to provide vegetable gardens, a central controller with automatic
control of irrigation and automatic fertilization systems. Users can use the App
on the phone to control and monitor the parameters of the vegetable garden.
The entire system runs on solar panels installed on the roof.
