APPLY PYTHON IN PSSE TO COMPUTE POWER FLOW BY LOAD PROFILE

Abstract

In recent years, the load in the North has grown extremely rapidly when the
living standards of people increase along with the appearance of many industrial
zones, leading to difficulties in operation grid. In the distribution network,
because most of the load is for residential, the difference in load between peak
and off peak hours is very large, so power flow calculation by load profile in the
day is extremely necessary for power system operators. This paper applies PSSE's
API to compute power load in day for a distribution network in the North
Vietnam. The results show that tool helps to have an overall picture to evaluate
power flow of the day, contribute significantly to the maintenance of stable
operation of the power grid.
