Abstract

This paper presents the analysis and evaluation of the influence of technological
parameters on the vibration amplitude and surface roughness during the milling
process of the cycloid surface of the Cycloid screw pair of the 6-8atm air compressor,
the 40Cr steel material on the five-axis CNC machine Center. Application of Fuzzy
Grey Relation Analysis (FGRA) method to analyze the influence level and calculate
reasonable technological parameters for the best vibration amplitude and surface
roughness under survey conditions. The results of the vibration amplitude and
surface roughness when milling the four-parameter cycloid screw face (Spindle
speed, Scallop height, feed rate, machining strategy) are 0.6104; 0.8710; 0.6104;
0.6654 and 0.5523, 0.7737; 0.5523; 0.6580. Using the FGRA method to optimize
technological parameters with the best vibration amplitude and surface roughness in
the survey conditions results are Spindle speed: 11000rpm; Scallop height: 0.002mm,
feed rate: 1800mm/min, machining strategy: Zig.
