A STUDY ON PHASES TRANSITION AND TEMPERATURE FIELDS OF CARBON STEEL TUBES DURING ORBITAL - MAG WELDING PROCESS
Orbital - MAG (OM) auto welding process is complex and is often applied to
weld the connection of the fixed pipe lines. The heat distribution of the OM
welding has influenced phases transition and quality of the weld. In this paper,
the authors analyze phases transition and simulate temperature fields of carbon
steel pipes during OM auto welding process. Numerical simulation with the
support of JMATPRO and SYSWELD softwares used to analyzed phases transition
and temperature fields.
