In which nanotechnology will be strongly applied in medicine. Nanomedicine is the application of nanotechnology in human health care. Materials at the nanometer scale have very different physical, chemical and biological properties than the same material at larger scales. Nanotechnology and nanomaterials can create effective diagnostic tools and methods. Nanomedicine products can be targeted by nanorobots. The highly toxic treatments can be delivered with improved safety using nanotechnology, such as chemotherapy cancer drugs. This article is a narrative review about nanotechnology applications for the medical field in the future, which is the main motivation of medicine revolution in the industry 4.0. This review summarizes recent advances, applications, and future prospects of nanotechnology in modern medicine
2026-02-11T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) https://www.vjol.info.vn/index.php/dhcl-e/article/view/132163 FOOD DEMAND FORECASTING SYSTEM BASED ON MACHINE LEARNING 2026-02-24T10:24:17+07:00 Vuong Bao Thy tapchidhcl@mku.edu.vn Tran Thi Thuy tranthithuy@mku.edu.vn
Food demand forecasting plays a crucial role in optimizing the food supply chain, helping to reduce waste and inventory while improving customer service. However, traditional models often struggle to handle nonlinear, noisy, and high-dimensional data in real-world systems. This paper proposes a forecasting system utilizing the XGBoost model, combined with a feature preprocessing pipeline, log transformation, and hyperparameter optimization techniques. On a real-world test dataset, the proposed model achieves high performance, significantly improving prediction accuracy. These results clearly demonstrate the effectiveness of feature engineering and hyperparameter tuning in large-scale food demand forecasting tasks.
2026-02-11T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) https://www.vjol.info.vn/index.php/dhcl-e/article/view/132166 DESIGN AND MANUFACTURING OF EXPERIMENTAL EQUIPMENT FOR PUMPS AND HYDRAULICS STUDY 2026-02-24T10:24:17+07:00 Le Duc Trung leductrungsg@gmail.com Vo Hong Nhut tapchidhcl@mku.edu.vn
The project “Design and Manufacturing of Experimental Equipment for Pumps and Hydraulics Study” was developed to provide Mekong University students with a practical tool for research and training. The system includes a centrifugal pump connected to three pipes of different sizes, together with valves, a flow meter, an orifice, and a Venturi tube. Water circulates from a lower tank through these devices to an upper tank and back. There are suitable instruments to measure voltage, current, vacuum, pressure, and hydraulic losses. The equipment enables students to study pump performance and pressure losses in pipes and fittings. Two experimental lessons were also prepared for student practice.
2026-02-11T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) https://www.vjol.info.vn/index.php/dhcl-e/article/view/132171 LYSIS OF FUNCTIONALLY GRADED SANDWICH PLATES USING A C¹-CONTINUOUS FINITE ELEMENT METHOD 2026-02-24T10:24:17+07:00 Pham Quoc Hoa phamquochoa@mku.edu.vn Dao Ngoc Diep tapchidhcl@mku.edu.vn
This paper proposes a finite element method utilizing a four-node quadrilateral plate element with seven degrees of freedom per node for the free vibration analysis of sandwich
plates featuring a metallic core. The top and bottom face sheets are composed of ceramic- metal functionally graded materials (FGMs) whose properties vary continuously through the thickness. To accurately represent the stress - strain behavior - particularly for thick plates - Shi’s third-order shear deformation theory with C1-continuous derivatives is employed. The accuracy and convergence of the proposed formulation are verified through comparisons with benchmark results available in the literature. The novelty of this research lies in the first-time development and application of a finite element model combining Lagrange and Hermite interpolation functions to analyze the free vibration characteristics of sandwich plates.
2026-02-11T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) https://www.vjol.info.vn/index.php/dhcl-e/article/view/132177 RESEARCH ON THE INFLUENCE OF LUBRICATION ON THE RESULTS OF THE MICRO-DEEP DRAWING PROCESS USING A FINITE ELEMENT MODEL ON QFORM 10 CLOUD SOFTWARE 2026-02-24T10:24:18+07:00 Pham Viet Hoang phamviethoang@mku.edu.vn Phan Thanh Tung tapchidhcl@mku.edu.vn
In the process of material forming, the selection of friction conditions (lubrication) belongs to one of the important tasks affecting, for instance, the value of deformation force.
