The cause of economic renovation in Vietnam over the past more than 30 years has an important content of renovating the mode of development, helping the economy to revive quickly and achieve spectacular development. However, in the context of increasing globalisation, and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the country needs a new approach to development. It must actively seek both new resources and engines of development in new ways, combining them with traditional development engines and modes of development, and move towards sustainable development.
