Implementation of the Library Law at the Library of Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism

Abstract

   The Library Law No. 46/2019/QH14 implemented by the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on November 21, 2019, has created an important legal framework to regulate and promote the library profession and the development of reading culture. This law provides a crucial foundation for the specific implementation of library development activities to support training, scientific research, and community service at Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports, and Tourism. The paper evaluated the implementation of the Library Law over a five-year period (from 2020 to 2024), and proposed solutions to further develop the information-library activities at Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.
