Niazirin was separated from the extract of Moringa oleifera leaf through column chromatography. Semi-preparative HPLC was employed for the purification of this compound. Spectroscopic techniques, including
NMR and ESI-MS, identifred the structure. The purity of the compound was estimated to be 98.35% based
on HPLC.
