GRID CONNECTED ROOFTOP PV - ENERGY EFFICIENT SOLUTION FOR PUBLIC BUILDINGS

Abstract

Grid connected rooftop PV system for public buildings have many advantages in comparison with the system of dwelling buildings: bigger installed capacity, flexible operation, higher reliability and better technical-economic indices. The public buildings mainly work in day - time coinciding with the operation time of PV modules so that almost energy generated by PV system is consumed at the site and the efficiency of energy using is very high. The paper describes the structure and main technical parameters of studied systems, results of measuring and determining operational characteristics of public grid-connected rooftop PV systems
