Abstract
Bacterial leaf blight disease causes by Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzaeis one of the most important diseases in rice-cultivating areas of Vietnam. To prevent this disease, the use of resistance varieties offers the most economical alternative. However, in order to succeed in breeding resistant two line hybrid rice varieties, the TGMS lines and the parental lines which contain resistant genes play a very important role. In this study, DNA markers were applied to determine and screen tms gene and bacterial leaf blight resistance gene in TGMS lines. The results show that 103S, Peiai 64S and 25S lines possess tms2 gene. The individuals which have both of tms2 gene and homozygote resistance genes were selected in F2 population
