The childbirth rituals of Coho Sre in Di Linh District, Lam Dong Province
Abstract
The rituals of ethnic minority groups contain many values and cultural norms. They are closely linked to the social system including the economy, culture, education, etc. However, the culture of the ethnic minorities has been changed in either positive or negative direction for numerous reasons.
This paper focuses on presenting the tradition and changes of the childbirth rituals of Coho Sre living in Di Linh District, Lam Dong Province based on the field research to clarify the cultural characteristics of ethnic minority groups and to contribute reference materials to those interested in this issue.
