Ten highlight economic events of Vietnam in 2013

Abstract

    Based on monitoring economic developments in 2013, the paper offers 10 events highlights of Vietnam: 1/ Congress passed the amendment of the 1992 Constitution; 2/ Economy showing signs of recovery; 3 / The light and dark shades of exports and imports; 4 / Inflation was curbed with the lowest level, but the life of workers are still many difficulties; 5/ Ceiling loosen the State budget deficit, public debt burden continues to increase; 6 / Improved business environment has not brought practical results; 7/ The initial results and difficulties hinder restructuring of commercial banking system; 8/ Delays in disbursement 30.000 billion VND preferential credit support housing assistance; 9/ Corruption remains a hot issue; 10/ Accidents and disasters cause huge losses of life and property.
