Abstract
The World Bank has supported the Government of Viet Nam to conduct project “Inclusive Innovation” with a total investment of $ 55 million over five years (2013 - 2018). This is considered as the latest approach by donors to achieve a number of goals, including developing the business sector, bringing into play the best potential of a number of domestic economic sectors, combining poverty reduction and sustainable development. In fact, low-income innovation has been and continues to be effective in less developed and developing countries. This paper focuses on the experience of innovation in a number of countries, thus making some recommendations for Vietnam drawing some useful lessons for the innovation project being implemented in Vietnam.
