Research to improve the working mode of taxi engine when operation in the city

Abstract

     In Vietnam, people use taxi services quite a lot, especially in big cities. For the fleet of taxis used in big cities, most of them are using cars with older generation gasoline engines, using a mechanical distribution mechanism, without an exhaust processor. When making internal combustion engines for
cars, people often choose the design mode as the rated load mode, so the engine will work efficiently at high load and high speed. However, when the taxi operates in the city, the vehicle speed is low, the car often has to stop and park, so the engine often works at partial load. When the engine operates in this
mode, it will consume fuel and increase emissions in the exhaust gas to the environment. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the working mode of the engine on the taxi. This article will study to improve the engine working mode to reduce fuel consumption and reduce engine emissions.
