Abstract

Ca Mau peninsula is defined as an area with deficit of water source, affected by salinity from East Sea and West Sea. According to the results of the survey, 8 popular annual agricultural farming systems and 12 kinds of fruit trees and industrial crops are available. In order to choose an adaptive farming system,
two main factors that need to be considered are ecological adaptation and financial efficiency. Through a financial analysis of the common farming systems in the Ca Mau Peninsula, it is necessary to consider removing sugarcane and three-rice cropping systems, and shifting to farming systems with adaptive
effects to ecological conditions, and high valuable products. Orizentations are considered to reduce rice-cropping land, increase the aquaculture, including: (1) specialized brackish water shrimp farming, dry season shrimp farming - local specialty rice cultivation in the rainy season, (2) fruits planting, 2- cropping cultivation in rotational rice-crop method.
