Using of steel slag and new super-plasticizer to design concrete for hydraulic works

Abstract

    Using the super-plasticizer Grace ADVA181 and steel slag to design the concrete of 43,5MPa; 48,8MPa; 49,6MPa compressive strength at 28 days when using of mineral additives are fly ash, rice husk ash, silica fume and waterproof grades reach W10 to W12 (at), especially, the highly durable concrete is suitable for Hydraulic works. Using the source of industrial by-products (granulated blast furnace slag) as aggregates for concrete production are extremely necessary and useful, to solve the problem of scarcity about of the natural aggregates for concrete production, in order to bring about economic efficiency and contribute to environmental protection
